This series was born during a time when the world stood still. From my window, the dialogue between inside and outside became more intense than ever. It made me think of a line from The Beatles, an obsession of mine, “the inside is out and the outside is in”.

These paintings are my exploration of that idea. Created across Pordenone, Venice, Dubai, and my current home in Madrid, each canvas tries to capture the unique light and feeling of a space. They are a meditation on contrasts: the quiet of an empty room set against the vibrant energy of a city, stillness meeting movement, isolation blending with the memory of connection.

They are about how we inhabit spaces, and how, in turn, they inhabit us.
