Stories told through paint, paper, canvas and sound.
This series started with a question: how do you draw a party, especially when you can’t go to them anymore? My fascination with buildings, their surfaces, and the light they reflect at night found a new focus. I wanted to paint the energy of those crowded, noisy events.
I always begin with the memory of the atmosphere, letting my hand move with a kind of instinctual chaos to mirror the scene. As the party in my mind transitions to an after-party, the mood shifts. The events and lights move into the subconscious, and thatโs how I try to capture them. It’s about the echo of the event, the feeling left in a room after the music stops.
But there is a rule. No darkness would ever settle upon these parties. They are, and always will be, a celebration of life.
